Minister of Public Works, Reconstruction & Housing that made a press release on activity done in the last 8 months of the 2017.
The press release was held at The Ministry of Public works & housing in regards the activities forwarded in the last 8 months. And added also that he is planning projects to develop the country construction.
At first he told that in the few time he realized many items as: Evaluation & strengthen of the ministry personnel, in order to assure their capacity on the Country project Plans.
He added also they done assessment study of the ruined government buildings such as: Commercial Bank of Somalia, The base of Ministry of Education and others, from which appears that the personnel & the Engineers are capable to fulfill their tasks.
Also declared that they had made ceremonial opening on a road Mogadishu – Afgoi 4km of it between Arbis till Afgoi that made in cooperation with Norwegian Government & Somali Federal Government.
The Minister Eng. Sadiq also added that is in endings stage the project plan from Ex Control till Arbis length 23Km on Afgoi road.
The ministry in his speech added also that the International Institutions & Construction Companies must enlisted in order to strength the Country Rebuilding’s and cleared to participate in the tender offer by the Ministry Public Works & Housing.
The Minister also in his speech abolished the nowadays activity illegal of misappropriation in some places of the Ministry of Public Work Land Caves.
Latterly, the Minister underlined that the Urban Development and the Building Codes was passed to the Ministries Council & Country Legislation, The act will be in place immediately.
